Morocco’s annual inflation drops to 0.8% in 2025

RABAT, 22nd January, 2026 (WAM) — Morocco’s ‍inflation, ​as measured by the ⁠consumer price ⁠index, dropped to ‌an average rate of ⁠0.8 percent in 2025, from ⁠0.9 percent a ​year earlier, the country’s official statistics agency said on Thursday.

Core inflation, which excludes more volatile goods, dropped to 0.8 percent, from 2.4 percent in ⁠2024, the agency added.
