Egypt core inflation falls to 11.2% year-on-year in January

CAIRO, 10th February, 2026 (WAM) — Egypt’s core inflation rate slowed to 11.2 percent year-on-year in January, down from 11.8 percent in December, according to a statement issued today by the Central Bank of Egypt.
