Civil Defence contains fire in vicinity of Dubai International Airport; no injuries reported

DUBAI, 16th March, 2026 (WAM) — Dubai Civil Defence teams have successfully brought under control a fire caused by damage to one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport. No injuries have been reported.

The relevant authorities had earlier begun responding to the incident, which resulted from a drone that targeted the airport, taking the necessary measures in accordance with the highest approved safety standards.
