BEIJING, 10th April, 2026 (WAM) — China’s consumer price index (CPI), a key gauge of inflation, rose 1 percent year-on-year in March, according to official data released today.
Xinhua News Agency reported that the National Bureau of Statistics also said the producer price index (PPI), which measures costs of goods at the factory gate, increased by 0.5 percent year-on-year in March.
